Humility

When I first started out in my career years ago. I thought I was going to conquer the world with my energy, exuberance and brains. Needless to say, the world had an inversely proportionate response and here I am, 20 years later. Much more humbled and wise and more chilled. Even now, I realize that there is still a lot that I don’t know and that I have much to learn.

To everyone just entering the tech industry during this recessionary period and a time of mass layoffs. Keep your head down, cultivate a sense of humility and keep learning as you have much knowledge to soak up, both tech and non-tech. And when things get better, you will be in a better position.
